Yasa Motors (Subsidiary of Mercedes Benz), Yarnton, Oxford 

Plant Quality Consultant, for Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren Projects. 

Contract Plant Quality support for the expansion of the current production facilities and the introduction and Validation of new Machinery. 

  • Factory / Site Acceptance Testing of new Machine Installation. 
  • Validation Planning of new Machines delivered to site. 
  • Data validation and analysis for new machine testing. 
  • Create Engineering Change Request for customers. 
  • Support Plant Management Reviews. 
  • Project Planning for Validation of new machines. 
  • Statistical Analysis and Problems Solving. 

 

Oct 2023 – Feb 2024 

Polytec Car Styling, Bridgnorth. 

New Product Introduction Engineer (Quality) for Bentley Projects BY631 and BY63x 

Contract support for the introduction of new Bumper Systems for Bentley Motors (NPI), In a new facility in Bridgnorth. 

 

  • Manage / create the PPAP Proces into Bentley. 
  • Manage suppliers with the PPAP Process and Product Development and Problem Solving. 
  • Support the production Release Plan for Parts into Bentley. 
  • Create and manage the Statistical Analysis and MSA Studies for the Part Approval Process. 
  • Ensure the TS16949 standards was adhered to by suppliers to Polytec.  

 

Mar 2023 – Oct 2023 

JLR, Halewood and Whitley, International Automotive Components (IAC). 

Manufacturing Process Engineer (JLR, BIW) and Planning Engineer (JLR), Dimensional Engineer, Plant Quality (IAC) 

Contract roles to support JLR with Prototype Builds at Whitley and support the introduction of the new facility in Halewood for new electric vehicle Production Lines, Projects L384 and L481. 

Contract role to support IAC with Dimensional Management for Injection Mold Tooling and Checking Gauges for Projects BMW (F6x), JLR L551, L550 24MY and Ineos. 

The combined JLR roles included. 

  • Manage the Bill of Materials for the Prototype Build at Whitley Electric Vehicle Platform. 
  • Assist Agile Squads in the release of parts. 
  • Support various Testing and Analysis. 
  • Facilitate the new BIW Production Lines into current Halewood Facilities. 
  • Manage Vendors (Comau) 
  • Support JLR Design for Manufacture. 
  • Build Process strategy for Manufacturing. 

IAC Role  

  • Manage Tooling and Gauge requirements. 
  • Manage Tooling Trials at Suppliers and Home line (On Site). 
  • Identify Key areas for improvement in the event of non-conformances.
